| Alex Fitzsimmons a 28 year old from London who started his bar career tending at the 'Match Bar' in the west End in 2004, after his stay there including a brief stint at legendary bar 'Trailer Happiness' he moved toTaiwan to train bartenders on the illustrious art of drinks making and the theories behind it.
Coming home Alex spent some time behind the stick at Lonsdale House before helping open Suga Suga, Tabernacle and latterly El Floridita Bar & Restaurant with industry legend Nick Strangeway. After a year he was recruited to Sagatiba's formidable team as Master Bartender where he established the brand and helped to train over 200 bartenders across the UK.
During this time Alex developed a passion (soon an obsession!) for Tequila and read everything available on the subject, attended many seminars and sampled many tequilas in the process, perfecting his knowledge! In July 2006, 'The Noble Trading Company' was formed and 'Tequila Arette' was launched to huge acclaim and has gone on to be a favourite of many and is set to be a best seller. Alex launched 'Arette' in the Netherlands in April and is set to launch across Europe in the next 12 months. |
